Thanks for visiting my London Marathon fundraising page.  After 5 years of waiting and hoping I finally got my place in the marathon and on SUNDAY 26th APRIL 2009 I will be running 26.2 miles in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. 

This charity is important to me and my family as Marie Curie nurses looked after my grandad during the final weeks of his life having battled with cancer and the support they offered my grandad and our family during that time was immense so I would like to give something back to this amazing charity.

Every £20 you donate, pays for a Marie Curie Nurse for one hour in a patient's home.  Every £100 you donate would pay for one full day in a Marie Curie hospice.

As part of my marathon training over the next 12 weeks I will also be running four 10K races the London/Silverstone Half Marathon and the Prague Half Marathon so your donations will help motivate me through my training.
